how it started

I have always dreamt of owning a small business. Something that will bring an extra income for me and my children while working part time so I can take care of them and enjoy every growing up moments with them. I prayed to the Almighty God to lead me there sometime, someday.

That someday came, during covid times, when I developed some skills and started a love for wood working and using power tools [yes for girl power :)]
I learned how to use a miter saw, table saw, scroll saw, router, table router, sander and a planer. Topping it off with owning a laser machine that made it possible for me to craft or put together wood signs and gifts that touches the heart.
I first practiced painting and cutting woods when I renovated bedrooms in our home. And then I decided to make dog leash holders that I gave to my coworkers, wood book birth announcements that I made for family friends, custom welcome door signs for relatives, personalized door signs for teachers of my kids and a lot more. And every time they get to see the finished product as a gift, they would be so touched and would be very happy. All of them have encouraged me to start a business.
That is when I knew I found my niche.
And on Aug 2021 is when I officially opened this online shop. With the full support of my family and friends, I started this small business I called MC WOOD BLOOM. I strongly believed in the saying that "you don't have to be great to start, you just have to start to be great"... and I finally found something I LOVE DOING and I think it's worth trying.

Last January 2024, I learned how to make mosaic backers, 3d florals, dado framing, acrylic glass cutting with stand off screws, edge banding to name a few. I have made bigger products and is humble enough to give credit back and glory to God for giving me the talent and getting me this far.
Re-opening my online shop this July 2025 with more product ideas like custom wall clocks, custom business signs and bigger custom family signs.
